The winner: Eddy van Baren, already winning the prize for "Best Moustache" for that year, or the decade. Seriously, Ted De Braak has nothing on Eddy.
His cocktail "Pixie II" actually went on and take third place in the IBA International Cocktail competition of that year.
His combination certainly is a unique one, featuring dashes of white vermouth (!), A Mandarine liqueur made by Herman Jansen Beverages -yes please!- gin, and pineapple syrup made by Hero Fruit. A party in a glass certainly.
Now off to the mirror to imagine how i would look with such a manly moustache. Wow.
