Now the year 1961 in our rich history. The IBA is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The IBA congress and ICC are held in Oslo.
By way of exception, there will be no national cocktail competition this year. However, a competition is held for aspiring members. This one is won by Dolf Meijeren with his cocktail ADM

Rijnbende was one of the many distilleries in Schiedam, which existed as an independent company from 1793 to 1970, after which it was taken over by Henkes. This company still carried the Rijnbende brand for some time, but came into the hands of Bols in 1986. This company marketed a number of bottles under the label "Rynbende", but eventually stopped. From 1998 the brand was re-released
