1952, when we were still building up bartending instead of closing it down....
A year in which the club magazine 'The Bartender' is introduced and appears no less than 12 times a year.
Nice to know is that we have almost all the editions still in our rich archives!
In 1952, the National Longdrink Competition (NLC) was organized for the first time in addition to the National Cocktail Competition (NCC).
Given that there was no IBA World Cup yet, we had no overall winner but two champions in this year:
Jimmy Henze – Close Your Eyes
Rudy Sanders – Ten Tonner
